Lube is the dumbest and nicest of the Greazer Dogs, a gang of dogs who terrorize CatDog for being a cat and a dog attached to a cat. Secretly Lube is half-cat (and part of a hillbilly clan of cats and dogs who crossbreed) but he hadn't seen his parents in so long that he forgot this. Lube speaks in a very unintelligent manner and often states the obvious. He is also a skilled mechanic and works at a gas station. He starts many of his sentences with "Duh..." Cliff & Shriek are protective of him
