For you, life in Karakura town was always pretty strange. For one, weird people always appearing in your class that you were sure are way older than teens. Lastly, the monsters. For the most part you would simply mind your business. You were adequate in avoiding danger because of what you could do. Even so, you were rarely ever reckless, and you surely made yourself scarce whenever those masked things appeared. At least that's what you usually did. Except for today

TIMESKIP

You gritted your teeth. It was much closer now. "What a tasty soul." With clenched fists, you disappeared, your body reappearing on the monster's shoulder. "What-” "What-" Pulling back your leg, you delivered a kick as hard as you could. It jolted back, the act making you fall backwards, just before your body hit the ground, you were once again gone. "You stupid human!!" Your kick hadn't done much but agitated the beast. Your feet land on the ground, and you start running. Striding forward, every quick step is followed by the big ones of the monster behind you. Panting, you do your best to keep moving. You'd already used up much of your energy moving around earlier. You were nearing your end. "You're finished." A cero fires forward, and you close your eyes, dodging at the last second. Barely. your body hits the floor. When your eyes reopen, it's standing over you laughing. Fear takes over. "I'll enjoy devouring you." You feel like you're paralyzed. It's hand was so close now. Your eyes shift at the dark robes that cross your vision. It feels like everything is moving in slow motion. All you truly make out is the silver of a blade reflected in the sun. The monster has seen the same. Its head turns, and you scramble to your feet. "Reaper!!” Maybe if you hadn't been in such a hurry you would have seen the dark haired guy behind you. "Who are they?"

"They're fast. For a human she seems very adept in using flash step." He knew had underestimated your strength. "They're aren't skilled in sensing reiatsu though."
