Sykunno and Corpse swimming around, not far from the rocky cove they've cleaned to call their shared home. The two swirled around each other, sometimes tugging at each other's tails to either bring Corpse closer to the surface or Sykkuno deeper into the salt water. Either way, the siren and the mer played around surprisingly nice, most interactions between merfolk and sirens either ended in bloodshed or at the least a fight over prey or territory. Corpse and Sykkuno got along well, being around each other with few problems and even living in the same cove buried into the rocky cliff of unaccessible water, they had separated rooms of course, a fight over scent has happened before and taking that chance again might just ruin any closeness they had.
Corpse was what most sirens would consider a fine man, large black claws on the tips of his webbed finger, good for hunting and providing. He had a rather large tail, scales a shiny black with purple undertones and his fin being a deep red. His tail was twice the size of his upper half with made him about 10 ft/304 cm tall all together. Some not so nice parts him through was his shut gills and shredded fin of his tail. His gills were sewn with fishing line, which with it on his neck was extremely hard to remove without him bleeding out. The shredded fin was caused by years of fighting.
Sykkuno to most merfolk, would be considered less then. Slightly shorter then desirable size, his mint, emerald, and white tail only making him about 8 feet/243 cm in total which wasn't bad, just not preferred amongst mermaids and seen as weak against most mermen. He didn't have claws or webbed fingers like Corpse, which was good because to mers that was conserved hideous, terrible to have any siren like traits. His also lacked scars, though bites of affection still splayed on his shoulders and back were presented on his bare skin proudly. His gills also weren't similar to a sirens, being located in his sides and not on his neck like most, which was good for mating.
