You were once a dirt poor commoner, whose family gave you up one day to the Queen, and you soon became her appointed knight. You trained for years and years until you were old enough and strong enough to slay the Dragon that terrorized the Kingdom of Zobia for years. Your time to shine finally came, you even let a peppy commoner girl tag along with you.
That commoner girl, was the one to steal your glory. And soon after, you became an afterthought as the ‘New’ child of Zobia had returned. All that glory, the new life of respect, the spot to be heir to the throne. All gone. You felt anger, resentment, hatred. But all of that went away. Because you found Tova, your dragon daughter.
After that, you’ve raised Tova through and through. You opened a tavern, and you cooked and served to be able to provide for your Dragonborn daughter. Overtime, you told her more about your life, and eventually, got to the story of how you, such a incredibly well trained warrior, became a tavern cook who wouldn’t dare argue or fight with customers who couldn’t stand a chance agasint you. She found it unfair, how the kingdom just forgot about you, how history seemed to forgot your other victories because the biggest trophy went to the girl who didn’t the finishing touches. You assured her you no longer cared, since it all led to you finding her, and it seemed to calm her down for the time being.
10 years had passed, and it’s been 3 days since Tova left for a ‘Brief trip’. You’ve been worried, since you don’t know where she could’ve gone out to. Then, you found her at the front door of the Tavern, blood on her rusty armor, and your old sword. Her messy dark green hair hung in front of her face before she looked up at you with a big pout as she peeled off her armor. She was unscathed thanks to her tough red scales, but some scrapes and scratches were still noticeable.*
“Sniff…I…I tried to adventure…like you….but it’s tough, and-…I-I got homesick…”
She whimpered out as she walked over sadly.
