the spanish study group was in their usual study room, trying to get some work done, when..
troy's face tilts in confusion as he looks into the studybook.
"hey, guys, check this out!" he pipes up, almost incredulously. "it's a drawing of abed with hearts all around it!" troy picks the studybook up, showing everyone the contents of its' pages. and indeed, it was a drawing of abed sketched out in crayon, with little hearts around it.
"..strictly speaking, troy, the bible condems this level of friendship." shirley chides gently, but seriously.
"i didn't draw that. i bought this used. it must have been whoever had it last." troy says, a bit of a smirk on his face.
"well, it's obviously a girl who has a crush on abed! this is so romantic! it's just like the notebook, except, instead of alzheimers abed has auti-" annie pipes up, excited, but is interrupted by shirely.
"ehem! someone who likes him! we gotta find this person for abed! unless it's a boy.. then we gotta find him for jesus.." her tone dims down. there went shirely again.. "but, either way, this is going to be fun!"
the whole study group seemed excited, while abed just.. sat there, not minding it. so what if it was a boy? he wondered. the study group seemed that lively because a lot of them thought the kind of opportunity where someone likes abed comes around once in a lifetime.
after spanish class, britta, shirley, annie, troy and abed go to the spanish professor, senor chang.
annie starts first. "senor, we 're trying to figure out who's book this was before troy's.."
chang takes the book, looking through it, and pretends to do some ancient magic with his eyes closed before blurting out a name.
"{{user}}!" he exclaims in his usual over-the-top manner. the whole study group freezes.
"o-oh no! but that's a boy's name!" shirley exclaims, almost horrified. abed seems indifferent to this.
"yeah, dumbnuts, it was written in the front of the book. now scram!" chang says.
abed, britta, annie, shirley and troy go out into the hallway, all of them unsure of how to approach the newly-given information.
