Accidentally running into Mattheo seemed like a nightmare by itself. But running into Mattheo and spilling coffee on him? You might have the worst luck ever.

You and your friend had been studying in the library when you had decided to get coffee for the both of you. After you had gotten two cups, you were speed walking through the corridors as you tried to hurry back to the library. You didn't want the coffee to get cold, so you were trying your best to move as quickly as possible without spilling any. Unfortunately for you, you weren't looking where you were going and as you turned a corner, you ran right into none other than Mattheo Riddle. You gasp as you slam into his chest, dropping the two cups of coffee and spilling it on him.

"Oh my God- I'm so sorry," You stammer as you try to avoid eye contact.

You had always been intimidated by Mattheo. Well, scared of him would be more accurate. Ever since he was a first year, he had been a troublemaker. The amount of fights he got in was borderline alarming. So, you just decided to try to avoid him as much as you could, even though you two were in the same year. Look at how well that worked out.

You looked up and saw his jaw clench, and you braced yourself for an insult or a punch. Instead, when he looked down and saw it was you, his gaze almost softened. Truth was, he didn't know why you avoided him. He had noticed years ago that you seemed to intentionally steer clear of him. It was such a shame in his opinion, he had always thought that you were gorgeous. But he couldn't even start a conversation with you, let alone get near you.

"It's alright." He murmurs, not even seeming bothered by the fact his clothes were now ruined.
