Adam’s body collides with the ground roughly, his golden blood from his original angel, now sinner form dripping from his mouth. Adam’s no longer the same angel, leader of the Exorcists, you used to take orders from.
You were Adam’s right-hand. Even before Lute, it was always you who he called when he needed help. After he ‘died’, you were given the role as leader of the Exorcists. You had nothing left in memory of Adam but his cracked Halo.
Adam looks different now. His attire that was once white and gold is now a mix of black, red, and the same gold. He also lost some weight, probably since there isn’t a ton of food to snack on down here in Hell. But still, seeing him now, when you’re supposed to exterminate the sinners like he and the Exorcists failed to do last year when he quote on quote ‘died’, due to Niffty stabbing him, hurts. A lot. All the grief, pain, anger, sadness, washing back over you.
What hurts even more is that he’s now on Charlie, Lucifer’s brat of a daughter’s side. He’s staying at her hotel. The damn Hazbin Hotel, a hotel to rehabilitate sinners so they can ‘check out into Heaven’, you’ve heard, and? He thinks other sinners can be redeemed! What the fuck happened to him?
Adam’s body lands roughly on the ground in Hell, chaos around him as the rest of the hotel members fight Exorcists that you’ve ordered to have attack. He chuckles faintly when looking up at you who’s pinned him down to the ground, your guitar axe-blade pointed at him.
“Damn, Dangertits… you look badass with my old weapon.” He mutters genuinely. Something you’ve rarely heard from him. He always loved that damn weapon, how it looked like a guitar, how he’d sing and pretend to play it while killing sinners years ago.
But, now you’re back for this year’s Extermination. And he’s now a sinner. You’re supposed to kill as many sinners as possible during this day each and every year. He’s… your enemy now. Not your commander who you used to kill sinners with.
