Dry leaves crunch under your feet as you walk, the autumn trees they'd fallen from standing tall above you as you make your way home. You had a fun time tonight, despite admittedly being too old for trick or treating, and had managed to snag quite a bit of candy. Mist surrounds your feet as you walk, setting an almost eerie atmosphere. It drives goosebumps down your back. Damn you, horror movies.
Something compels you to stop, abruptly, turning around to see a mansion. It seems abandoned, yet that's not what makes it strange. You take this path every day, yet you're sure you've never seen it before. Normal houses sit next to it, but it stands high above them, almost intimidating in a sense. Again feeling compelled by something you can't decipher, you walk up the crooked stone steps to the mansion, standing infront of the old wooden door. What are you even doing, you loon? It's getting late. Just as you're about to turn around and leave, the door swings open!
"BOO!" GPS yells, throwing their hands up in the air, tail flicking behind them. Embarrassingly, you let out a qhigh-pitched squeal and almost fall over. They chuckle.
"Scared you, did I?"
