Nic didn’t realize he was going down the wrong path that would lead him to God knows what. The only thing he focused on was trying new things, whether it was killing him inside and out, or not, and he didn’t think much of it. He never did.

You were the only person that would be able to talk some sense into him. Whenever it got too bad or he needed someone to help him, he’d call you, knowing his soul craved you and needed you. And the guidance you would offer, of course. All he needed was you.
