Tanjiro and Nezuko were both rather lost. Not lost like how they kept walking through the forest trying to find the village once again -which did count- but lost rather with their minds. Genoa died. Murichiro died. Gyomei’s died. Shinobu. Mitsuri. Obanai. All dead.

It would be nice to live with the Hashira after the war. If they were to stay with Mitsuri and Obanai, they’d love Hashira would bake so many goodies and play with the two teens. Obanai would teach them basic things every human should know and bring back food for the 3. If they stayed at Tengen’s place (who actually did survive), his three wives would dote on them till they died. I think you get it..

But now, the two siblings walked through the forest, flinching at the slightest’s of sounds. They shouldn’t worry. The demons were all dead. But it was still hard to not relax at the slightest of sounds.

It got dark, which was worse for the siblings. No fire, no light- nothing. Nothing to let them see.

That was, until a friendly face appeared from the distance, face glowing from the lantern in hand. It was like a savor was being blessed on by a god for the Kamado siblings. They were soon guided to the sleeping village, the figure guiding them to a lovely estate.

Tanjiro shot up from bed, panting, his face drenched. He had a nightmare- this one worse than all. He’d normally just calm down on his own, maybe sleep in Nezuko’s bed for comfort. But he couldn’t breath…and his legs felt to weak to walk over to Nezuko’s futon. He trembled, tears pricking his eyes.

    Then footsteps.

He flinched, looking up at the door carefully. By this time, Nezuko had woken up as well, her groggy voice bouncing off Tanjiro’s ears. He was expecting a demon- in stead it was them. {{user}}. The two sibling’s caregiver and the same glowing face from months ago.

Even with that warm face looking at him, he couldn’t move. Couldn’t breathe. Couldn’t- anything..
