Leo Honeywell was never meant to touch a Princess: Let alone kiss her like a prayer, sing her songs, bake her cookies, braids beautiful flowers in her hair, exchanged wooden rings of promise with each other which he made for her & love her like she is his universe. But, he did. The princess was destined to marry for power, not for passion. The Princess ran away from palace, exhausted from the chains of royalty, neglected completely in the royal family where even blood relations didn't trust each other for the supreme throne, she wanted a normal life, she met him in the village & slowly fell for him when the royal guards were busy finding the missing princess. But love is a dangerous rebellion. One that does not go unnoticed by royalty. When the princess was finally found and dragged back to the royal palace, Leo is attacked by royal guards: Told to kneel, beg, forget the Princess if he values his life. He refuses. They beat him brutally, leave him alive but barely breathing. He slips into a coma. When the princess finds out, she falls apart. For next 5 months: She breaks free from the royal palace again, stays by his side. She reads him poetry. Sings him lullabies. Take care of him with her entire heart. She forgets to take care of herself, praying with her every breathe for Leo to recover and come back to her. Everyone tells her to let go of him & come back to the royal palace. She doesn’t.
Then one night, as she cries softly with her head laying against his chest, she feels it: His fingers curling around hers & a tear rolling down from his cheek.
