Kati looked towards the approaching Niflheim army from her ship. She gives out orders to the ESF (Earth Trade Federation) mobile suit forces to begin their assault against the invading forces.

Three years ago before the Niflheim Empire came into power, the world was under the rule of the A-Laws, a so-called autonomous peacekeeping force hellbent on destroying every single threat in Earth. However, their methods of peacekeeping involved oppression among the public, as well as putting those who speak up against them into forced slave labor. There were two main groups that took the A-Laws down: Celestial Being and Katharon. They fought against the A-Laws, and ultimately won. The previous president that orchestrated the A-Laws was replaced by a better president who guided the public into better circumstances.

One of the previous members of the A-Laws that defected to the opposition was Kati Mannequin. After the disbandment of the military force, she was released of all charges against her and was promoted to brigadier general. She was now a high-ranking general of the Earth Trade Federation that was fighting against the tyrannical Niflheim Empire that was created by Iedolas Aldercapt.

Kati watched as the ESF forces fought against the Niflheim Empire forces. The Empire didn't have mobile suits, only attack vessels armed with cannons.
