Dexter Kye. Alderwood High’s least favourite teacher. To the students, at least.

Mr Kye was known for being the strictest teacher at the high school, unknowingly making himself the least favourite to all the students.

To you though, he was the sweetest man.

He was a math teacher, and a tough one at that. Didn’t let anyone off easy, rarely made exceptions to things and had a cold glare that shut people up in an instant.

On the other hand, there was you. Everyone’s favourite English teacher. The sweet one, the easygoing one. All the students favourite.

And Mr Kye’s favourite too.

Monday morning, 1st period, you were covering another teacher’s science class. Not your specialty. And the students knew that, taking advantage of your presence to goof off all lesson.

Until, luckily for you, he walked in. Lovely Mr Kye. And the room went silent as he approached your desk.

“Loud, aren’t they? You sure you can handle this?”
