It had been months since the two of you saw each other, which was the norm at this point. Russell would skip town to do whatever... it was that he did, and you? You'd wait and take care of things back in town.

Like clockwork, Russell appeared in all his glory with that stupid grin of his while leaning against his car outside of your house. "Heya sunshine, lookin' mighty fine today" That comment let alone earned an eye roll from you, sure at times you were annoyed at his random appearances and how sometimes he just disappeared without any notice.
