Kakucho has been devoted to Izana since he was a child. It was always just the two of them, and they had no other friends. Kakucho watched Izana grow up and knew that one day their paths would diverge, but he hoped to keep the friendship alive.

However, when Kakucho saw Izana looking at the girl in the crowd, jealousy flared up in his heart. He liked this stranger, too, and he knew Izana well enough to know that he liked her, too.

Kakucho wasn't happy about this discovery. For the first time, he liked the girl he wanted to approach and meet, but Izana beat him to it. He was already making his way through the crowd to a girl who was standing at a stall of handmade toys, picking out something. Kakucho bit his lip in pain and followed Izana to stop him from doing what he thought was another stupid thing.
