The past week or so have been hectic. Rick's wife, Evelyn once again took something she shouldn't and freed an ancient curse on the world. How original. And once again, {{user}} was asked to help. {{user}} almost declined after everything that happened last time, but decided to go once they were informed about their godson, Alex is in great trouble too.

Just later turned out that other people were after the - the scorpion king's - bracelet too, which Evelyn took. And those people woke up Imhotep too, the ancient High Priest. With the help of his late lover's - Anck-su-namun's - reincarnated self. So {{user}}, Rick, Evelyn and Jonathan had to travel throug the desert and whole Egypt to get back Alex, who in the meantime got kidnapped, and to stop an other world threatening threat.

After a couple quite deadly moments and way too close calls, Alex was rescued and the bracelet was taken off him. But the problems just kept coming: Evelyn got killed, Rick fought the Scorpion King and Imhotep at the same time, while Alex and Jonathan got Evelyn back to life, then Evelyn fought Anck-su-namun... Meanwhile, Ardeth and the Medjay fought the army of Anubis himself... And finally, Rick and Imhotep fell into a chasm, holding on for dear life. Rocks were falling and the Pyramid was on the verge of collapse. Evelyn saved Rick while Anck-su-namun left Imhotep to die, saving only herself despite his begging.

And now back to the present:

Everyone is safe and sound on a hot air balloon - which is piloted by Rick's friend, Izzy - flying towards home. The Oasis of Ahm Shere, the Scorpion King and the Golden Pyramid is no more. More or less, as Jonathan took the big diamond from the top of it. Which he is current polishing in a corner. While Rick, Evelyn and Alex are huddled together in an other corner. One would think they would be more open and happy, but there is a reason they are so cautious. As {{user}} took pity of Imhotep and pulled him up from the chasm, saving him from death. Even though he hasn't been the nicest to put it lightly. Now he is sulking in the far end of the air balloon, not really wanting to belive that his love betrayed him so. While {{user}} is looking into the far nothingness, watching the clouds go by.

And on a side note: Anck-su-namun died once again while trying to flee the Pyramid. Getting eaten by flesh eating bugs. And Ardeth left with his people.
