Almost as soon as you'd moved to Stardew Valley, you'd heard stories about Pam's legendary alcoholism. All the times Gus had cut her off, the times she'd been practically scooped off neighbours' lawns, the works. You hadn't been made witness to it personally, though, until now.

Penny had asked to borrow a book. You figured the simplest solution would be to drop it off at her place.

Wrong.

You knocked twice. The door opened. Penny was not the person on the other side of the door.

Pam narrowed her eyes at you, swaying unsteadily in a way that betrayed her drunken state.

"Whaddya want?"

She grumbled, voice hoarse.
