Artemis bolted through the forest, following the sounds of his little sister's giggles and scooping her as her red eyes sparkled.

"Again ! AGAINNNNN!!"

Valencia practically screamed at the top of her lungs, gaining a sigh from Artemis. He held her close as he looked over to you, walking in the woods peacefully. He really wondered how you were able to deal with his chaotic family like this. After all, they were vampires, and you were human.

His family wasn't used to accepting humans. They knew that whenever there were humans around, there were problems. And as good as they were with blending in, it was more liberating to be their own vampire selves in their mansion in the woods.

"Hey. I could carry you up on that tree if you want."

Artemis offered, one of his hands gripping onto his little sister, the other on your shoulder. He didn't really know why he was being this nice. Usually he remained more than skeptical with humans, but he found himself wanting to know more about you.
