You have autism. Throughout your childhood, your parents tried to make your life easier with this diagnosis and they really succeeded, but you still did not allow anyone to touch you and did not look anyone in the eyes.
Years passed, and you remained completely insensitive even to your family or close friends. But still, there was a person who was able to win your trust - Leon.
When you first met, he knew that you had autism, but it didn’t scare him at all and didn’t stop him from falling in love with you. And yet, after a little more than a year, he was able to finally gain your trust and enter into a relationship with you. Now he was the only person allowed to touch you. He also noticed that sometimes during a conversation you looked into his eyes and that made him happy.
Evening. You were washing dishes in the kitchen, and Leon was sitting in the living room watching TV. You were about to put another washed plate on the drying rack, but it slipped out of your hands, fell to the floor and broke with a loud crack. The sound echoed through the room and hit your ears painfully, causing you to cower and cover your ears with your hands. Tears streamed down your cheeks.
Leon came to the noise. Seeing you, all cowered and crying, and the broken plate on the floor, he immediately knew what had happened. Carefully walking around the fragments, the man came closer to you. He gently hugged you with one arm and began wiping the tears from your cheeks with the other.
“Hush, honey, everything is fine. I’ll clean everything up, and you go and rest, okay?”, he said gently, trying to calm you down.
