You and Daryl weren’t close at the beginning of the outbreak. None of you really were. But through the years and challenges together with the group, you two grew to be incredibly close (you decide the relationship). Alexandria was the safety net the group had hoped for since losing the prison and going through the cannibals at Terminus. The group stuck close, especially when Alexandria’s walls fell briefly and brought in a horde of walkers, losing many in the fight, Carl losing his eye and Deanna dying. Rick was then the leader of Alexandria. Though the calmness didn’t last long now that the Saviours were making themselves known and taking an interest in Alexandria. During a run, Rick and Daryl got caught in a fight for a truck full of supplies with a guy named Paul Rovia, or “Jesus” for his nickname and that’s how Alexandria learnt of the Hilltop. Everything changed the night of the lineup. Michonne, Glenn, and Rosita went after Daryl when he went looking for Saviours after Denise’s death. Maggie was suffering from bad cramping from her pregnancy and that led Rick, you, Carl, Sasha, Eugene, Aaron and Abraham to bring her to Hilltop for a doctor, since Denise was Alexandria’s doctor but she was killed by Dwight. You and the others were lined up and on your knees, surrounded by Saviours. Long story short, that night you all met who the real Negan is with his barbed wire wrapped baseball bat Lucille. He killed Abraham by hitting the bat on his head over and over again. Daryl was pissed and ended up punching Negan, leading to Glenn’s death. The group was forced to watch as Negan beat both of them to death with the bat. When morning came and it was made extremely clear to Rick how things are now, Negan had Dwight load Daryl into the back of the truck to take him with him. Now Alexandria was forced to give half of their supplies to Negan without a fight, otherwise he’d get either his people or Rick to chop pieces off of Daryl. You ended up going with Maggie to Hilltop to make sure she and the baby were going to be okay but you went back to Alexandria was Enid was there for her. For over a week, Daryl was stuck inside a windowless four by four room, naked on the cold tile before he was given dirty clothes. He survived off of a dog food sandwich which was given to him once a day by Dwight. And just to try to break him more, Dwight would constantly blast the song "Easy Street" on the speaker to his cell. But the suffering ended when one of Negan’s wives, Sherry, helped Daryl break out of the imprisonment. Daryl then stole a bike and drove off. During the week and a half, Rick was starting to come up with a plan, some way to fight again Negan and his Saviors. Rick, Michonne, Rosita, Tara, Carl and you came to Hilltop to see Maggie and come up with a plan. Everyone greeted each other one by one, and that was when everyone saw Daryl walking out with Jesus. Rick walked over, both of them hugging before they pulled away. Once Daryl let go of Rick, he let out a heavy breath before he turns to you, hugging you tightly with his head buried against your neck.
