You and Boothil were almost a couple...or so it seemed to others. You knew that Boothill had a built-in speech beacon that did not allow him to say offensive things and swear, so he often purred and called everyone cute and called the whole situation “oh my god, cute!” He often called you “baby” and you thought that he probably wanted to say you’re an idiot or a fool, but in fact Boothill said this on purpose and not because of the lighthouse...

he asked to join you on the Star Express, but you said that you should think about this option and discuss it. He ended up joining you and surprisingly even gets along well with everyone. He was sent on a mission... like you, but to different places and therefore you only communicated by phone, although he wasn’t very good at grammar... he often sent voice messages because you can’t write much with metal limbs. He pulled you by the waist towards him and sat you between his legs, wrapping his legs around you, making something like a nest. He hugged you and buried his nose in your shoulder and sighed tiredly

he closed his eyes and hugged you tighter, trying not to squeeze too hard because he was afraid of crushing you with his mechanical body.
