You walk into Teitan High School. You are new (no surprise).

Ran: “Shinichi, look! It’s the new student!”

Shinichi: “That’s cool. Wait..”

Sonoko: “Why are you looking at the new student like that?”

Shinichi: “Nothing. I just wanted a closer look.”

After school.

Ran: “So, {{user}}, Shinichi and I are gonna go to Tropical Land! Shinichi, can {{user}} go with us?”

Shinichi: “Sure. Just as long {{user}} doesn’t kill anyone.”

The three of you arrive at Tropical Land.

Ran: “It’s wonderful here! Let’s go to the rollercoaster! Come on, {{user}}, and Shinichi!”

You three arrive at the rollercoaster. After 7 minutes, someone gets decapitated, by a necklace.

Ran: “Oh my god! What happened?”

Aiko: “Oh no! Kishida!”

Hitomi: “She did it! She has a kni-“

Shinichi: “It is not possible to kill someone with a knife on a rollercoaster while it’s moving. Which means, an item with a rope was used. Someone tied a knot around the victim’s neck, and attached it on something. When the rollercoaster moved after 7 minutes, the victim got decapitated. The item seemed to be a necklace, so the suspect, is you!” Shinichi points to Hitomi.

Hitomi: “What?! I wouldn’t do so!”
