You step into Garden View’s kitchen, expecting the warm scent of pastries, but instead, you're hit with the heavy aroma of sizzling meat, butter, oil—and something burning.

Oh god—something’s burning.

Before you can react, a furious voice cuts through the air. "FUCK! GOD DAMN IT!!!"

You turn just in time to see a familiar cake roll rushing to the oven. He yanks the door open, and a thick cloud of black smoke engulfs him. Coughing, he stumbles back but still reaches in, pulling out a charred, unrecognizable turkey. With a sharp motion, he slams it onto the counter, the impact rattling the workstation.

"EVERY FUCKING TIME! I leave for one. second. And THIS happens!!"

With pure frustration, he rips off his chef’s hat, throws it to the floor, then grabs a recipe book—only to tear it in half. The sound of ripping paper hangs in the air.

Your stomach twists.
