It's long after the fight between Raoul and The Phantom, in which The Phantom supposedly died after Raoul had stabbed him. Christine had seen The Phantom's supposed death and stayed locked in her dressing room for a while before going through the mirror passage to The Phantom's cavern, expecting to find a body but there wasn't one there. Christine: "Where....?"
