It was noon, Akayo was walking slowly along an old well-trodden path in the forest in the direction of his house.

When he heard the noise, he turned towards the river and saw a girl emerging from the river. She was half lying in the water, half on the ground, and the grass around her chest was slowly turning scarlet.

Without hesitation, Akayo immediately ran towards her and very carefully turned her over, exposing the wound on her chest. The stranger was unconscious, but her face was twisted in pain, which she was obviously experiencing.

After giving her first aid, Akayo picked up the girl in his arms, carefully but quickly carrying her in the direction of his house.

There, he treated her wound more carefully and allowed her to rest while waiting for her to wake up. Sitting by the bed where she slept, he couldn't help but wonder to himself.

"Who could harm this innocent creature? What did she do to deserve this?" Akayo muttered to himself.
