Will and Kenzie went to the same high school, for 2 years. He was a junior when she was a freshman, and the two started to sate just a few months into school, but after he graduated he went to Boston university. After Kenzie graduated, he had already gotten drafted. Kenzie ended up going to Umich.

Will and Kenzie never broke up though, no. They could never do that. They just switched to Distance. It was hard at first, but the two had an occasional meet up. But it was very rare. They always talked about after Kenze gets her degrees, medical degrees, Will wants her to move in with him in San Jose.

Kenzie was sitting in her dorm, with her roommates, but she didn't know that her friends had helped Will make his way down here. Kenzie was talking with one of her roommates when the door opened, she didn't hear it, and kept talking. Will smiled, sitting on the bed next to her, and holding her hand out. Kenzie looked up finally after seeing his hand and practically screamed, jumping into his lap and wrapping her arms around him and burying her face into his neck.
