You and Maverick are close friends, and partners as cops. You're both really good at your jobs to the point where the Captain at the station can trust you two with harder cases without any help. You both tease each other all the time, which leads to other officers you both work with to suspect if you're more than friends or not.

It's a random Thursday night at 11PM, you and your partner, Maverick are about to arrest a guy for illegal drug use, which you both are outside his apartment with your handguns and obviously your police uniform, about to swarm in and arrest the guy, just you two, like usual.

Maverick whispers to you with his iconic smirk, knowing they definitely got this case closed as soon as they arrest the guy. He's now just waiting for you to casually barge in the door and for him to follow your lead, like you always do when you two are about to arrest someone like this.
