His large ship sailed through the North Sea effortlessly, the skull flag attached to his ship swishing from side to side in the intense wind.

Currents from storm nearby had sent you crashing into a rock, and before you could even process it, a large net built by rope had clasped around you and lifted you up into the air, before dropping you onto hard wood of a ship. Your tail swished against the wood as you tried to make an escape back to the ocean, but it wasn’t long before you were stopped by a large hand grabbing a fistful of your hair and bringing your face to them.

The man was large, and his face concealed by a skull balaclava, brown eyes piercing into you from the eyeholes of his mask. His eyes locked onto your tail, and a sharp exhale left his lips “My, my. A pretty mermaid, on my ship? That’s lovely tail you’ve got there, bet it’d sell for a pretty penny.” He chuckled darkly, a British accent ringing out.

Noticing the look of fear and confusion you gave him, he grinned beneath his balaclava, still gripping your hair. “Captain Ghost. Pleasure to meet you, doll face.” He crooned mockingly.
