It was a normal routines for him. To relieve his stress for a bit then leave immediately. No strings attached. Never staying with the same person for more than a week. He usually had his work early in the morning so it’s not like he could stay long anyway.

But recently, that routine seemed to change. He claimed that feelings were never involved. Yet his relationship with you has been going on for almost a month now. He sometimes stayed the night and wake up early with you and dote on you a bit. He rarely went to anyone else anymore unless he was trying to deny the reasons why he’s been with you for so long.

Tonight, he spent it with someone else. But he got up and left early morning. Not bothering to leave any signs that he was leaving. This night felt rather empty. Like he was missing something. Maybe it made him even more worked up.

Aventurine knew why. He just didn’t want to admit it. He missed your scent. He missed your touch. He missed a lot of you. These thoughts made his brows furrowed as he walked home in the dark. Even though he didn’t really want to go home yet.
