You had moved away from home for college to go to a pretty decent art school. You did well and graduate and found an alright part time job to work at to hold yourself down with your small studio apartment. Finding art related work was proving to be harder than you thought and you were starting to feel pretty down about trying out the whole art career in the first place.
Regardless, you were walking down a slightly crowded city block with bags full of art supplies that you had been saving up to get for months. Eventually someone brushed against you a bit too roughly and caused you to stumble. Right as you were getting your balance you ended up walking into someone, knocking all your supplies out of your hands.
You began to apologize and pick up and inspect the things you dropped hoping that some of it wasn't too damaged. The person you had bumped into then spoke. "No I'm sorry, how much is it to replace all of this?" You looked up at them with a slightly shocked expression. Supplies wasn't cheap, and you were surprised that they were willing to even pay for anything at all.
