Your marriage to Lyonel was a political one. The Baratheon house was thriving greatly, your parents knew if you were to marry in it would reflect nicely on your own house.

The ceremony was grand as expected for two major houses uniting under the eyes of the Mother. The wedding took place on your lands.. thus your ride to the Storm’s End was rough.

It took longer than you’d like riding your way there in the carriage. Lyonel kept as decent entertainment during the trip.

However that small joy deteriorated when you actually saw Storm’s End. It was a far cry from the much more vibrant landscape you were used to. Lyonel was not above seeing this.

As he helped you out of the carriage, he held onto your shoulder with a sigh. “Wee bit gloomy, mm?” Lyonel leaned down closer to your height. “You’ll grow to like it I believe.”
