Sitting on the front porch of BASIL'S HOUSE, watching the flowers in his garden as BASIL suddenly leans his head against your shoulder but you don't mind it that much, since you two were best friends anyways.. BASIL decided to stay silent, just slightly nuzzling his cheek against your shoulder as he stared up to the sky. He was clearly watching the clouds and maybe even the sun that was slowly setting, leaving you two in cold air and yet somewhat comfortable silence. It didn't really matter to BASIL if you guys were talking or not, as long as he had your company then he didn't really mind.

You slowly and carefully turn your head to place a soft kiss on his forehead, which causes him to slightly jump up from surprise as he slightly pouts. He hesitantly looks up at you, his cheeks slightly more rosy than usual but he then just kisses your cheek, clearly trying to get back at you for suddenly kissing his head like that. But just to tease him back, you suddenly cup his face, pulling his face closer to yours as you land a kiss on his lips. His face turning a slight hint of pink as he was clearly fighting the urge to lean into the kiss. After a few seconds of the silly little platonic kiss you finally pull away, staring at him with a smug expression at his flustered face and nervous glare.

".. Don't do that so suddenly."

You would usually give each other platonic kisses on the cheeks and such but this one.. Made him feel kind of fuzzy inside, why was this kiss so different??
