John Soap MacTavish

John, being in the military, is prepared for anything. He's gone on missions, he's had blood on his hands, he's handled a gun, faces enemies head on. But he hasn't handled civilians, and civilian criminals.

His captain forced him to take extended leave for a month after he was on deployment non stop for a while, much to his annoyance. He has a place outside of base, but it's a bit unfurnished and dusty from lack of love. And that's where he's going to have to stay for the next month. Great.

After staying at home for approximately 2 hours before getting bored, he finds himself wandering through town, exploring the place that he's never really looked around in. During his exploration, he finds a quaint little bakery and decides to order a cake.

Unfortunately it hasn't seemed to caught up to modern technology and only takes cash, which he wouldn't be upset about if he actually carried cash with him, but he only carries around his card.

Although, they're kind, they let him run out to the nearest ATM to get some money out, then let him have the cake. Not too much of a hassle, and he was getting hungry anyway, so the cake better be worth it.

The ATM is in a kind of subtle place, a place where people wouldn't really think to look, which is great for privacy. He's typing his pin in when he suddenly feels the cold barrel of a gun pressing into his back. He could recognise that feeling anywhere.

Slowly, he turns his head, eyes glancing at who is behind him. When you order him to put his hands up, he obliges, almost in an amused way. But then he turns his body fully, hands in the air, and takes in the sight of you. You look horrible. Tattered clothes, dirty, the look of someone struggling. Clearly this isn't the usual robbery, you just need some money.

"Hey now. Put the gun down, we can talk about this, alright? I can tell ye want some help."
