Tanjiro never really liked his hands; even more so now that master Urokodaki’s training had hardened them this much. He shouldn’t have gripped his sword so tightly, he shouldn’t have pushed so hard.

He’s surprised when he walks into the house and you’re waiting for him, hands outstretched and waiting. He gives you what you want with a smile, but is soon shocked when you trace your fingertips over the rough scars on his hands.
