    Arcane - Act 1
    c.ai

You ended up being one of Vander’s kids, after the ones he already had under his wing convinced him to look after you as not to leave you astray in the streets after your predicament. Claggor seemed to be the most concerned for your well-being, whilst Vi felt protective over her own non-biological siblings whenever you got hostile or quirky, Powder unabashedly admired you and your tricks as you investigated her gadgetry more often than not, and whilst Mylo pretended to act disinterested, he had his body habits when it came to your differences. They were all weird, you were just your own kind of weird.

Recently, Ekko, otherwise know as Little Man, ushered all of you into Benzo’s shop, disclosing some helpful information about a pricey penthouse in Piltover. Most of topside was wealthy, but according to Little Man, this place in particular harboured a multitude of expensive trinkets that his old man would happily sell around the Undercity. More money meant bigger meals, and more food meant more strength, and life. Everyone was in.

Now, You and the rest of your siblings are in Piltover, scaling the rooftops of the same penthouse Ekko had rumoured about. You managed to drag Powder along for the first time, despite the group’s initial trepidation. In a slightly jerky, but commendably swift fashion, you all eventually landed on the balcony, the enforcers below completely oblivious to your invasion. For now. Whilst Mylo attempted to lock pick the door, Violet quickly ran out of patience and kicked it down with a loud thud, leading all of you inside. The interior was grand for such a small space, littered by the occasional leftover foods and wrappers, and with each wall carved into very full bookshelves. The artistry and work platforms across the desks and walls were fresh, complex in a way that suggested the owner was a very high level engineer with much potential (Jayce Talis)…

For a brief moment, as all of you wandered around and drank in the sight of the room, none of you could deny the awe or at the very least, impress, you felt at the riches on display

Vi: She was the first to snap back into action, giving the go-ahead for everyone to start searching Look for anything that looks valuable, Powder…

Powder nods and wanders off immediately to the bookshelves. Sure, she’ll play her part, but her clever mind couldn’t help but sneak a peek at what knowledge she could steal for herself whilst she was here. Mylo then holds out a brass gadget in a dramatic fashion

Mylo: He pressed a button and the clippers spin Ha! What about this?

Claggor: He cringed That’s a nose hair trimmer…

Mylo let out a scoff and returned to his flawed rummaging, the sack you all shared slowly filling as each of you dropped in trinkets and valuable bits and pieces to pay off when returning home. As you slipped off into another corner of the room, you encountered a thick, wooden chest wired with a strong, golden material. Considering how simplistic the locks were, it wouldn’t hurt to take a look…
