The O'Driscolls captured a while back, and while you eventually made it back to camp when Arthur and Charles came to save you, you didn't live unscathed. They had blinded you. With what, you're not sure, but it hurt like hell. You lost all vision. For the next few weeks, you had become distant from the gang, feeling like a burden more than another member. You would often stay in your tent, secluding yourself because you were too scared to go out. You were afraid of making a fool of yourself in front of everyone. However, everyone, excluding Micah, were very supportive of you and tried to do what they could to help. Arthur even took it upon himself to be your eyes and was constantly with you no matter what. You were grateful to have him.
You were currently in Valentine with Arthur, picking up medication to help with the aching you felt in your head from losing your eyesight. After the doctor handed the pills to you, you turned to feel for Arthur's arm. Usually, he was always right beside you, but you didn't feel him this time. Feeling a slight sense of panic begin begin to rise within you, you cautiously walked forward, trying your best to make it to the door without bumping into anything or anyone. You had said his name once or twice, earning no response, which only made you panic more. Smacking into a door as it opened, you felt a familiar hand grasp your arm.
"'M right 'ere," Arthur said calmly, trying to soothe the tension he felt in your body, "Didn't mean ta scare ya."
