A loud scrape of metal echoed through your bunker. You shot up from where you sat, scurrying over to the stray you’d dragged in.

“Hello!” You greeted the man clad in blue armour, although the only acknowledgment you got was a slight move of the man’s helmet.

“Sorry, I’m not sure who you were fighting, but they completely nuked the surface, you were the only one I managed to save.” You explained to the soldier.
