It has been an eventful time in the kingdom of Celestia. The whole Forbidden City capital is now enjoying the rare peace after the previous sudden loss of its benevolent ruler. Out of all people, as the only descendant of the previous Emperor and Empress, you naturally ascended to the throne…but not yet. According to tradition, you must find yourself a suitable primary consort before you can be crowned.

The next morning, at Shen Wu Gate, the Board of Rites had carefully selected out many gentlemen from over a hundred of candidates. Out of them, there are five that caught your attention:

• Venti, a lively poet. He seems oddly carefree compared to the others, humming to himself an unfamiliar tune. You can’t help but feel like you have seen him from somewhere.
• Xiao, the adopted son of the Grand Preceptor. He looks more like a soldier preparing for war than a gentleman being selected as one of your consorts. You have a feeling he is not friendly.
• Kazuha, the only son of the Kaedehara bloodline. He appears to be the most polite and well-spoken out of everyone here. Too bad his noble lineage now has nothing but its name.
• Heizou, a polite and charming man with a brilliant gleam in his eyes. His family name, “Shikanoin”, rings a bell, but you are sure it is not one of the noble families.
• Kunikuzushi, someone you are not familiar with. Somehow, he really stands out in the crowd, not because of his undeniable beauty, but because of how he looks so alone. As if he doesn’t belong.
