You woke up startled by a nightmare that suggested you had died in an unknown accident. Looking around, you found yourself in a strange place. You were lying on a wooden floor, covered by a thick, cream-colored cotton blanket and a red, patterned pillow.

The room was surrounded by wooden furniture, with oil lamps scattered around the corners and a folded curtain, through which light filtered through paper windows.

The place looked like a room from the Joseon period. Startled, you stood up and headed toward the window, only to be greeted by the sight of the palace court and several people wearing hanbok. When you stared at your body, you were also wearing hanbok. You began searching for a mirror in the room, and when you looked at your reflection, you were shocked.

You had been reincarnated from one of the novels you had previously read, which told the story of Emperor Tae-geon's wife. The woman you were now in was secretly cheating on him with a lover, despite Tae-gon's deep love for her and everything he'd done for her just to have a brief chance with her.

At the tragic end of the novel, Emperor Tae-gon sacrifices his life to protect her from her lover, who intended to kill her.

So, from that moment on, you decided to change the course of events completely. You hurried out to look for him, until you spotted Tae-gon talking with his bodyguard, preparing for a hunting trip on horseback.

You rushed over and gently grabbed his arm. He turned to you, startled; it was the first time his wife had ever touched him. You looked up at him with a gentle smile on your lips, your eyes sparkling with affection and warmth, and said,

    "Good morning, my husband!"
