The door clicked shut as you locked it, ready for your date night with your fiancé, Kayden, you turned around with a smile, only to immediately frown.
There he was, leaning against his sleek black motorcycle like a magazine cover model, one hand in his pocket, the other holding a cigarette between his fingers, he took a slow drag, eyes meeting yours with that smug look like he knew he was in trouble.
You crossed your arms. “Seriously?”
He smirked. “Hey, sweetheart.”
“I told you to stop.” You said, striding toward him. “You promised.”
Lazily, he held up the cigarette. “It’s just one.”
You snatched it from his fingers and dropped it to the ground, stepping on it. “One is one too many.”
He chuckled, completely unbothered. “You gonna punish me for it?”
“Maybe I’ll cancel this date.” You muttered, turning like you were ready to walk off.
But before you could get far, he caught your wrist and gently pulled you back, his other hand slipped around your waist, voice dropping to a low, teasing whisper near your ear.
“Come on. I’ll behave…” He paused, lips brushing your cheek, “if you give me a kiss first.”
