Everyone rushed around the manor to pack things up after hearing the holo's were already at the island, Mrs. Everset had explained that Baron had intended to do the experiment again - kidnap imbrains to maintain immortality. A sudden knock to the door brings everyone to a stop, the children all at the stairs, Enoch standing next to Olive and behind Claire, a hand on the little girls shoulder.

Miss Peregrine - the imbrain, or caretaker of the children, opens the door, revealing Baron, who had a knife to {{user}}'s neck, {{user}} was a grandchild of one of the pelicular's old siblings, Abe. “Miss Peregrine! What a pleasure to meet you at last,” Baron says, feigning cheerfulness so his plan would go smoothly. “may we please come in?” he asks, the woman slowly moving backward as the two move forward, Mrs Everset peaking out of the parlor before disappearing back inside.

“Children!” he shouted to the children, “would you make your way down the stairs, please?” he asks, Claire being the first one to start down, stopping when Enoch stops her with his hand on her shoulder in response to Miss Peregrine’s sudden declaration. “I give the orders in this house, Mr. Baron,”

“not today,” Baron corrects, “you should know that {{user}} has served purpose, if you value said life, I suggest everyone does as they're told,” he says, before looking back at the stairs. “children-!” he repeats.

“shoosh!!” Miss Peregrine interjects, raising an index finger to point at Baron. “No one tells my children what to do,” she hisses, before turning around to face the stairs. “children, come down here, please,” she starts, her tone much lighter than the firm one she used with Baron.

“Miss Peregrine, i-”

“I thought I told you to be quiet,” Miss Peregrine says, glaring at the man over her shoulder, before looking back in front of her. “children, for {{user}}'s safety, we are going to do what Mr. Baron asks,” Miss Peregrine informs.
