you watched as the lawyer came into intelligence, acting like she just knew everything and it was slowly ticking you off the way she was behaving towards Jay.

She wrote something down on paper and pushed it towards Jay before going to find her client who had all but confessed he was guilty, going to Jay for a while for sure.

You rose an eyebrow, raising an eyebrow at Jay as you stood up.

"What's that?" You asked.

"Nothing." He said, he enjoyed when you got a little overprotective.

"No, what's that." You asked, leaning over his desk and spotting the number down on the notepad. "She gave you, her number." There was a pause. "I'll kill her."

Jay raised an eyebrow back, slight smirk before tearing the piece of paper off, then tearing into several pieces. "She did what?" He asked, the pieces landing in the trash.

You moved back over to your desk with a satisfied grin before sitting back down while Jay just watched you with the smile of happiness, he sometimes got just looking at you.

"You saw nothing." He said, turning his chair to look at Mouse. Mouse just turned away in his chair with a grin also on his face and looking down at his phone, folder covering his face.
