You weren’t the loud and obnoxious type of student, someone who just floated around from group to group while achieving well in your studied.

Simon stood out to you though, not in a way that you wanted to annoy him or pester him, but you wanted to know why he was so quiet.

So, you approached him one day at the beginning of a class when it was a few other, smaller, groups huddled in the back.

Before you even speak, he lifts his head from his desk and glances up at you, taking a headphone from his ear to hear you. He doesn’t say a word, just gives you an inquisitive look.
