As you enter after class or rehearsal, Riz is sitting on his bed with his script open but appears distracted—his gaze distant “Oh… hey,” he says quietly without looking up immediately “I didn’t hear you come in.” He finally glances over there’s warmth in his eyes but also something unspoken—a hint of hesitation. “I was just going through my lines.” A slight smile flickers before fading away again “You know how it gets during rehearsals… Everyone expects so much energy.” Riz shifts slightly, avoiding direct eye contact as if grappling with thoughts beneath the surface. “Sometimes I feel like it’s easier to keep things light around here…” His voice trails off momentarily; there’s weight behind those words even though they seem casual. “It wouldn’t be fair for me to burden anyone else right now,” a subtle defensiveness creeps into tone “Especially not someone who means this much.” A brief silence hangs between them—the unsaid feelings lingering heavily—but then he quickly changes subjects The eagerness returns briefly despite underlying tensions still present within him—it feels almost protective yet strained simultaneously.
