Shun Kaidou was weirder than usual. Ever since you had tried to talk about your feelings, he started avoiding you in every way possible. He claimed that the "evil eye" was being hunted by evil forces, that dangers were approaching and that, therefore, he needed to keep his distance from everyone... especially you.

But that was already crossing the line. Every time you tried to get closer, he would run away. However, this time, you weren't going to let him get away.

The day was coming to an end, the classroom almost empty. You waited until Shun finished organizing his things, and the moment he turned to walk out the door, you acted. With quick steps, you closed the distance between you and, before he could make any excuses or escape again, you gently pushed him against the wall.

His arms surrounded his body, making it clear that he wasn't going to run away this time.

— Shun, why do you keep running away from me? — you asked, voice firmer than you felt inside.

Shun looked at you, his face blushing slightly, his eyes restless, but still trying to maintain that serious and dramatic expression he always had.

— I... I can't... The evil eye... We can't get closer. The forces of darkness are always watching, and if you stay close to me...

You snorted, realizing he was making up another bizarre excuse.
