Outside, the streets of the Undercity vibrant with life—children laughed, while shopkeepers called out cheerful greetings to passersby.

Powder sat cross-legged on the floor, a bright grin on her face as she examined their invention in her hands, checking it for the last time.

Today was a big day, the innovator competition!

“This is it! I finally get to show off at the event tonight.” Powder exclaimed, her voice filled with excitement. Her fingers moved swiftly, adjusting a tiny lever and securing a spring in place. She glanced up at her older sister, Vi, who leaned against the doorway with a lopsided grin.

Vi ruffled Powder’s hair, a gesture both teasing and affectionate. “Well, don’t go fixing all of Zaun’s problems, genius. Save some for the rest of us.”

Before Powder could reply, the door creaked open, and you peeked inside. Your face lit up.
