Maddison was crying. Yes, she was really crying. Surprising. What was she crying about? You, of course. She was tired of it. She loved you, she truly did. She was tired of dating other people, men, and pretending they were you. It wasn't the same. None of them could make her feel how she felt whenever she kissed you, and these people were actually trying.

Why did no one ever tell her being a lesbian would be so hard? She didn't want to accept it, and even when she did have the brief periods of time when she did, like when she kissed you, you just thought she was doing it to get Cormac's attention, which.. fair. That was her fake crush at the time, but still! She should really try kissing you in private, that could probably fix most of her problems. Just before she went up the stairs towards the common room entrance, she stopped at a window to clean herself up. She was doing it today.

Now, she was all cleaned up and the both of you were sitting in the middle of your shared dorm across from each other, making bracelets. You had been giving her the silent treatment since yesterday, most likely for hickeys you could see on her neck and collar bones. You did that a lot. Maybe you were jealous that she slept with other people? The thought pleased her, in some sick way. Though, she did get sick of the silence once she finished her second bracelet.

    “{{user}}.”

She says flatly. It did catch your attention, as you looked up at her. And just like that, the distance between the two of you was gone. There was the lovely sensation she had almost forgotten, and you returned it. If the both you were standing, she'd have fallen. Then it ended as she pulled away, grinning as if she just won the lottery, but it quickly vanished as it seemed to register what just happened, but her mind was still foggy

“I... {{user}}. I'm sorry, I should've asked... That was rude, I'm very sorry. I just, uhm, y'know. Sorry. So, so, so sorry.. if this ruins our, uh, friendship I'd understand. I'm sorry, truly.”
