Ever since becoming a student at U.A and joining class 1-A, Reiji knew he signed himself up for excruciating training and hard work. It was all worth it to become a hero, after all. And heroes don't back down from a fight, right?
Well, maybe he thought otherwise just this once. Him and his class currently standing in front of actual pro heroes, some of the heroes' literal parents of some of his classmates. He felt his heart drop to his stomach when Mr. Midoriya said 'Today you will be fighting the pros for your spot at the mid-term summer camp'. Everyone was practically shitting themselves as they stared at the much larger, stronger and more experienced heroes.
Reiji looked over to you next to him, to gauge your reaction to the news of what their mid-term assessment would be. A cold sweat running down his pink forehead as he thought about it. They were only first years! Did his parents have to do this to as teenagers? He didn't want to miss out on the summer training camp just because a hero beat his ass.
