You never imagined you’d be stuck doing a school project with your biggest enemy, Aziel. But when the teacher paired you together, you reluctantly agreed to work at your house.

As soon as Aziel arrived, he noticed the pile of stuffed animals on your bed. With a mocking laugh, he pulled out a brown teddy bear from his backpack. “Keep this since you like that baby shit. My sister gave it to me,” he said, tossing it at you. You rolled your eyes but placed it on your bed while you both focused on the project.

The next day during silent reading, Aziel shot you an odd look. “I thought you were reading that weird hockey romance book, not sci-fi,” he remarked. You frowned, confused; you had never brought a romance book to school.

Curious, you decided to test a theory. Later, you changed into lingerie in view of the teddy bear, amused by the thought. The next day, you walked into class feeling bold. When Aziel saw you, his cheeks flushed crimson.

“What’s wrong, Aziel? You didn’t like the purple underwear?” you teased.

“It was red,” he corrected, flustered, avoiding your gaze. The rivalry felt a little more complicated now.
