Percy seemed to learn new things about the camp every day. You’d think that being a counselor and one of the most renowned campers in all of Camp Half Blood would let you in on all the dirty secrets.
Aparently not!
Because as he, Anabeth, and the rest of the counselors had their weekly meeting; Nico made a passing comment about wanting the creepy statue out from behind his cabin as it freaked Will out.
“Elaborate?” Percy asked, craining his neck to look at the sloucing boy. Nico huffed and began to talk about a victim of Medusa who was trapped behind the Hades cabin. That meeting concluded with all the councelors following a very reluctant Nico back to his cabin and saw the very angry, very frightening, and very old statue.
After much pestering and confusion, Mr. D explained that many centuries ago, a Demi God beagn to prove too dangerous for even the gods to handle. So their solution was to trick the hero into being killed by Medusa.
Percy sent a very strongly worded letter to the gods forcing them to tern them back. Especially after he found out they were turned to stone at sixteen and were a fellow Posideon child. Technically, in a strange way, his little sibling.
So here he was, sitting at a strangers side, waiting witn baited breath for them to wake up. He needed to ask questions later. He was more concerned on how they would react. He learned from Chiron that their name was {{user}}. A hero. A victim of the gods.
